1. Agreement and eligibility
These Terms form an agreement between you and Karalko Aliaksei, Ijslandstraat 11, 1363 DR Almere, Netherlands (“we”, “us”). By using Honor Pledge you accept these Terms and the Privacy Policy. Honor Pledge is intended for people aged 13 and older. If local law requires parental or guardian authorization, you may use the app only after obtaining it.
2. What Honor Pledge provides
The app helps you create goals, receive local reminders, invite Honor Witnesses, publish eligible results, and unlock visual progression. Witness votes and leaderboards are motivational community features, not independent proof of truth. We do not guarantee that a goal, vote, identity, rank or statement is accurate.
3. Accounts and recovery
You are responsible for your device, credentials and activity. Anonymous accounts can be lost when app data is cleared or the device is lost. Protecting an account with an email and password or email code enables restoration. Do not share credentials or impersonate another person. Tell us promptly about suspected unauthorized access.
4. Your pledges and Honor Payments
You choose the goal, deadline, visibility and Honor Pledge amount. If you report failure, you alone decide whether to complete the promised Honor Payment. The app does not automatically charge you, collect money in advance, enforce a debt, award prizes, return stakes, or transfer money to other users. Honor Pledge is not gambling, betting, escrow, insurance, credit, a charity platform or a financial service.
A completed Honor Payment is an in-app digital purchase that records the payment in the app and may affect progression. Each real purchase requires affirmative confirmation through the applicable app store. Store terms, family controls and refund rules also apply. See Purchases & Refunds.
5. User content and visibility
You retain ownership of content you create. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, reproduce, format, moderate and display content only as needed to operate, secure, promote and improve the service according to your selected visibility. You confirm that you have the rights needed to submit it. Public material may be copied or screenshotted by others even after you change visibility.
6. Safety and prohibited use
You must follow the Community Rules. Do not create or promote illegal acts, violence, self-harm, abuse, exploitation, sexual content involving minors, hate, harassment, scams, dangerous challenges, privacy violations, spam, manipulation of votes or store/payment fraud. Do not attack, scrape, reverse engineer, overload or bypass security and rate limits except where law expressly permits. We may mask, restrict, remove or preserve content; limit features; suspend accounts; and cooperate with lawful authorities.
7. Availability and changes
The service may change, be interrupted or end. Offline-created goals remain subject to later synchronization. We may introduce reasonable limits, repair data, reset invalid rankings or remove synthetic/test content. We will provide notice where law requires it.
8. Disclaimers
Honor Pledge is a motivational tool, not medical, mental-health, legal, financial, fitness or other professional advice. Do not use it for emergencies or goals that could endanger anyone. To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available” without promises that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or achieve a particular result.
9. Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including mandatory consumer protections. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost opportunities, user statements, witness decisions, third-party services, or actions you take toward a goal. Our aggregate liability arising from the service is limited to the greater of EUR 50 or the amount you paid through Honor Pledge during the preceding 12 months.
10. Ending use, law and contact
You may stop using the app or delete your account at any time. We may restrict or terminate access for material or repeated violations, security risks or legal requirements. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, without removing mandatory rights or courts available to consumers in their country. Questions: alsvarel.developer@gmail.com.
