Delete your Honor Pledge account

Use the in-app option for immediate self-service deletion, or submit a verified request by email if you cannot access the app.

Option 1 — Delete inside the app

This is the fastest and most secure method because the active session proves that you control the account.

  1. Open Honor Pledge and go to Profile.
  2. Open the settings / Honor Ledger panel.
  3. Select Delete account and data.
  4. Read the warning and confirm permanent deletion.

The app sends an authenticated deletion request, signs out, clears the local account snapshot, and removes private pledge photos and voice notes stored by Honor Pledge on that device.

Option 2 — Request deletion from the web

If you cannot open the app, email us from the address linked to your permanent Honor Pledge account. Use the subject Honor Pledge account deletion.

Include only:

  • the email linked to the account, if any;
  • your hero display name;
  • your public Townhall code, if available.

Never send your password, a witness code, a full purchase token, card details, identity document or unrelated sensitive data unless we specifically explain why it is legally necessary. We may ask for a limited verification step to prevent deletion of someone else's account.

Anonymous accounts do not have a linked email. For them, in-app deletion is the preferred proof-of-control route. If the device is unavailable, contact us and we will explain any verification options available for that account.

What is deleted

  • the Honor Pledge authentication account and profile;
  • server-synchronized pledges, outcomes, attempts and witness codes;
  • your witness votes, reactions and Townhall salutes;
  • progression, unlocks and Townhall profile;
  • your public Heroes Hall and Townhall entries;
  • account-linked application transaction records, except limited records that must be retained for law, refunds, fraud/security or dispute resolution;
  • private local pledge photos and voice notes, when deletion is completed from the device that stores them.

What may remain for a limited period

We may retain only what is necessary for tax/accounting rules, refunds and chargebacks, fraud prevention, security, legal claims or compliance with a binding legal obligation. A minimal deletion-security record may remain for the lifetime of previously issued sessions plus a limited retry period, ordinarily no longer than 90 days. Service-provider backups rotate according to their protected deletion cycles.

A web request cannot remotely delete photos or voice notes that were never uploaded from your phone. To remove them, clear Honor Pledge's local app data or uninstall the app on each relevant device.

Timing and confirmation

Authenticated in-app deletion is normally processed immediately. Verified email requests are handled without undue delay and normally within 30 days. We will tell you if applicable law permits and requires more time. We may retain your deletion correspondence long enough to document completion and resolve disputes.
